Electrical Conductor Seal Assemblies (ECSA)

ECSA's are Class 1E qualified to IEEE-323, IEEE-344, IEEE-383 and IEEE-572 for in-containment applications and can be used where sealing of conductors is required, inside or outside containment. All parts are manufactured to ANSI/ASME NQA-1 and 10 CFR 50 Appendix B. Typical device sealing applications include motor operated valves, limit switches, solenoid valves and pressure transmitters.

Nuclear Service Connectors (NSC)

These quick, reliable disconnect/reconnect modules eliminate costly cut and splice procedures.  They are made to mate with a variety of hardware including RTD’s, Thermocouples, limit switches, solenoid valves, pressure transmitters, level sensors and other Class 1E devices requiring sealed conductors.

Metal to metal seals eliminate organic O-Rings and gaskets, thus ending seal replacement and maintenance.  These assemblies are rated for 40 year service at 225 °F (107 °C) with a radiation resistance to 225 megarads.  Our standard design allows for retrofit into existing Class 1E applications and provides direct field termination to MI cable, sensor or instrument housing.
